On Sunday 19th May, East Coast gathered together for their annual Fun Run in Marlay Park.  We were blessed with the best day of the summer so far and the support from members, family and friends of East Coast was excellent.  Of course, Jim Browne took the win, running two laps of Marlay Park easily but Josh Quigley gave him a challenge and was able to keep up with him right to the end.

After the race, there were some refreshments for the children before most members of East Coast competed in a friendly game of football which was enjoyed by everyone involved.

This year the Fun Run is in aid of students travelling to Barcelona in July for the European Championships so the support given by everyone involved was greatly appreciated.

All in all it was a fun and successful day and everyone should be proud of their participation and support.
